The Amazing Story of the Digestive System

Hand on heart: what do you really know about what’s going on inside your belly? We invite you to set out on an immersive journey through your digestive system—along a route that begins at the mouth and continues all the way through the intestines. Along the way, you’ll encounter bacteria that influence our quality of life and learn how the food we eat affects our health. Just like the journey food takes through the digestive system, you’ll enter the exhibition through the mouth and exit from… well, come and find out for yourselves!

The new summer exhibition at the Jerusalem Science Museum spans approximately 600 square meters and features dozens of interactive exhibits, video installations, graphic panels, and more. The exhibition “Gut Feeling” arrives in Jerusalem directly from the Science Museum in Paris, where it attracted tens of thousands of visitors.

The exhibition was designed and created inspired by the international bestseller “Gut: The Inside Story of Our Body’s Most Underrated Organ,” written by Giulia Enders and illustrated by Jill Enders.

Such a rich museum! The kids can touch, learn and experience everything, and parents can have a great time too. Arrive early and not in season, otherwise the place is packed. Will definitely visit again when the kids are older

Very enjoyable. The kids moved from one exhibit to another. The museum encourages them to explore. Suitable for kids over 5 (younger kids don’t pay but there isn't much for them to do)

David van Gelder

Great museum, every exhibit is hands-on with clear explanations in Hebrew, English and Arabic. Fun and enjoyable for curious people of all ages. Nice, shaded areas to rest, eat and relax. Takes about 4 hours to cover everything

A world-class museum with entertaining interactive exhibits that educate children about scientific principles. Israeli hi-tech inventions are highlighted

Awesome place with so many things to see, do and learn. Fun for the whole family! The are plenty of exhibitions that demonstrate different physical and natural phenomenas. The place is clean and tidy, and easy to navigate. It also has guided tours. Parking could be a problem if you come late, but overall - highly recommended
