Printed Shoe with an Electric Circuit and an Activation Button Inside

The shoe of the industrial designer Asa Ashoch offers a new design approach in which biometric data from sensors embedded in the sole and body of the shoe are collected over time and gradually improve the shoe itself.

The project was done in collaboration with the Stratasys company and is produced using a 3D printer with PolyJet technology that allows the printing of different materials in the same product. The project received research funding from the European Union.
