About the Exhibition
While industrial production relies on complex and wasteful processes, in nature, form emerges effortlessly—with precision and elegance. Remarkable structures arise from the material itself, responding to internal forces and their surroundings, without the need for external intervention.
The Automorphia exhibition was created by Dr. Ariel Blonder and Prof. Eran Sharon. A visit to the exhibition offers a thought-provoking experience, challenging the way we perceive creation, the relationship between matter, form, and environment, and the possibility of imagining a future where materials shape themselves—and design is inspired by nature.
